The JCOM is Orchestra in Residence at the Munich Kammerspiele
The press conference of the Munich Kammerspiele for the 25-26 season had an unexpected opening: the artistic director of the JCOM, Daniel Grossmann, welcomed the press representatives present, who were quickly surprised as to why he was the first to step up to the microphone and not the host, Barbara Mundel: Daniel Grossmann explained that the collaboration between the two institutions would become even closer and that the JCOM would be the Orchestra in Residence at the Munich Kammerspiele starting next season.
We look forward to many exciting joint projects!

The Munich Kammerspiele write about the new cooperation:
For many years, concerts by the Jewish Chamber Orchestra Munich have been a staple of our program. Their concerts intelligently explore Jewish life in Germany and beyond. The orchestra, conducted by Daniel Grossmann, brings to light what all too often remains hidden. The interplay of music and theater here unfolds enormous narrative potential.
Now we're opening the next chapter of our collaboration: The JCOM will become the Orchestra in Residence at the Munich Kammerspiele. Starting next season, all of its Munich concerts will take place at our venue – with the exception of the traditional New Year's Concert. We look forward to joint productions and many exciting concert evenings.
