THE STORY OF QUEEN ESTHER - for school classes

Munich Artists' House
The Jewish festival of Purim, which begins on the evening of March 13th in 2025, dates back to Queen Esther, who lived as a Jewish orphan in the Persian Diaspora in the 5th century BC. When Haman, the Persian king's highest official, attempted to have the entire Jewish population massacred, Esther courageously went to the king herself and thus prevented genocide. This rescue is still celebrated at Purim today.
Together with narrator Markus Nau, the JCOM brings the Old Testament story to life, accompanied by music from Antonio Vivaldi's "Four Seasons."
