The JCOM is a guest at the Enescu Festival in Bucharest: together with the Israeli soprano Chen Reiss and the young violinist Tassilo Probst, winner of the George Enescu International Competition 2020/2021, we present a concert program with works by the congenial siblings Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn.

As a woman of her time, Fanny did not have the same opportunities as Felix, who was greatly supported by his father. Although Fanny's work was highly valued, her father and brother even prevented her works from being published! Although her husband, the painter Wilhelm Hensel, supported his wife's artistic activities, Fanny was never able to match her brother's success.
